About Red Bull Racing in 2026
Red Bull Racing, based in Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom, has been one of the defining forces of modern Formula 1, winning six constructors' championships and powering Max Verstappen to four consecutive drivers' titles between 2021 and 2024. After years as a Honda-powered customer, 2026 marks the team's most significant gamble in its history: it becomes an engine manufacturer in its own right, running the all-new Red Bull Ford Powertrains unit built in-house in partnership with Ford.
For 2026 the squad pairs Verstappen with Isack Hadjar, promoted from the Red Bull junior programme, as the sport resets around new power-unit rules (50% electric power, fully sustainable fuel and no MGU-H) and nimbler, active-aero chassis. Whether Red Bull can deliver a competitive engine on its first attempt is the biggest question of its season, and the news on this page tracks every step of that project alongside Verstappen's title defence.
